Things to know Before starting a coaching session…

  • Your coach takes confidentiality seriously. What is said in a session stays in a session so that you can explore safely and freely.

  • Coaching is not a place to get judged. A coach holds you as who you are at the moment. You don’t have to compose yourself or hide certain emotions. Please use this place to practice not judging yourself or your thoughts!

As a Co-Active® Coach, I believe:

  • “People are naturally creative, resourceful and whole." I am not here to fix you or teach you. I believe that you have the answers and resources within you already. I am here to support you to see it and feel it, for that is the beginning of the transformation. I promise to hold you bigger than you hold yourself.

  • The focus is always on YOU! What I want for you is to live a life of resonance: A life where you are making intentional choices with your values, are clear on you life purpose, and are really experiencing what is happening in the moment.

  • There is no script. We co-create intuitively.

Flow of coaching

Introductory Session

We talk about what coaching is and the style of Co-Active® coaching so that we can co-create to design the life you aspire to. We also talk about what would be a good time span and frequency to meet your desires and lifestyle. If you wish, you can try out a 20-minute sample session.*

 

Discovery Session

This is where we design how we will co-create. With the questionnaire that you filled out earlier, we dive in to find what is really important in your life, set a goal, and look at the vision of how you want to be.

Contract

Once you decide to take coaching sessions, I will send you a contract. Please sign and send it back to me before the first session. Signing a contract means you made a commitment to yourself to change your life for better.

 

Sessions

You transform your life not only during sessions but, very importantly, between the sessions as well. You will set an action plan at the end of each session with a internal shift, new perspective and discovery. By taking action in your life, you will start to notice your life changing.

Questionaire

You will receive a questionnaire. This is designed to inspire you to look within and start to reflect about who you are becoming and what your dream is. It’s a great way to start your new journey. I recommend you take your time to fill out this form. Don’t forget to enjoy this time!

 

Completion

Toward the end of the contract, you have a choice to renew your contract or to complete our sessions. During a completion session, we look back on your journey. We talk about what did and didn't happen, define what's next on your journey, and celebrate your growth and future.

*A sample session is for those who are seriously looking for a coach. The $50 fee will be applied toward the package price.

What do we talk about in a session?

 

I ask you to bring a topic for each session: It may be something aligned to your goal that we set together in the discovery session, or it could be a totally different thing that is occupying your mind at the moment. I am happy to help if you couldn’t come up with one, but I strongly recommend to take some time to think on it because thinking about your topic is a part of coaching that leads to your transformation.

 

WHat’s the flow of a session?

We identify the topic of the day together and dive in. You coach asks you many powerful questions that take you on an inner journey. A wise person once said, “The quality of the questions you hold is the quality of your life.” You having conversations with yourself leads you to new insights and new perspectives. With that, you make an action plan to move forward and make a difference in your life. Are you ready?

WHat is the difference between coaching, consulting, mentoring and therapy?

A consultant or mentor is usually someone who specialized in the particular area and gives you advice for you to succeed in that area. A coach is someone who believes that you already have an answer inside of you, and helps you find that answer by asking thought-provoking questions. Generally, therapists focus on your past and works to fix or heal you. A coach believes that you are a whole already, not broken and needing to be fixed. The focus for a coach is on now and the future.


Who is coaching for?

If you are expecting a coach to transform you, coaching is not for you. You are not a passenger in coaching. If you are ready to make a change in life, coaching is for you. However, if you need to change things in urgency, coaching may not be the best option. If you are wanting a deep and rich transformation that will last a lifetime, coaching is for you!
